Energy Pack for Royalty owners
ONRR royalty history per BLM lease serial, addressable by the same legal description as the lease itself.
Royalty owners and mineral-interest analysts read ONRR royalty history from spreadsheet downloads, then manually join the data to lease serials. The Energy Pack returns ONRR sales + royalty data keyed by lease serial — or addressable by the PLSS section / TXSS abstract that contains the lease.
How the workflow changes.
- Download ONRR Disbursement Report monthly as CSV
- Join lease serial to section reference manually in Excel
- Track royalty trends in a spreadsheet, by hand
- Cross-reference operator activity per lease serial
- /api/energy/royalties returns sales volume, royalty value, and operator per lease serial
- /api/energy/leases returns the section + holder + commodity for any lease serial
- /api/energy/offset-operators returns operators active within a buffer of the lease
- Look up a lease by serial OR by the PLSS section / TXSS abstract that contains it

Common questions from Royalty owners.
What does the ONRR royalty endpoint return?
Sales volume (Mcf for gas, BBL for oil), royalty value (USD), unit price, and reporting period (month + year) — keyed by BLM lease serial. The default response returns the last 24 months; pass `years=N` for a longer window (max 10 years).
Does the Energy Pack include private (non-federal) royalty data?
No — the Energy Pack is federal-land focused. Private mineral interests don't have a national reporting equivalent to ONRR. For Texas private royalty diligence, the Pro+ Texas map overlays surface RRC wells and GLO leases visually within the web app.
