ALTA and cadastral surveyors confirm surface ownership through state CadNSDI but have to scrape state regulators for downhole well counts and locations on every plot. The Energy Pack renders well, orphaned-well, and pipeline overlays directly on top of the PLSS section or Texas abstract grid at the meridian level — no more cross-referencing PDFs.

How does well data render in ALTA-compatible projections?
Township America serves all overlays in EPSG:4326 / WGS-84 via PMTiles, with section centroids and corner ticks at the meridian level. Surveyors can pull the same data through /api/energy/wells if their plot-prep workflow needs a CSV export instead of a tile.
Does the Energy Pack include monument or POB references?
Not directly — Township America consumes the BLM CadNSDI dataset which provides PLSS section / quarter-section polygons, not survey monuments or POBs. The Energy Pack augments the section data with well / lease / pipeline overlays so the surveyor sees federal-land context alongside their existing PLSS reference.
